There are few things I love more than a cute summer dress. I love being able to throw on a single piece and be ready for the day, without worrying about which top matches or which pants fit (and most of them don't, tbh).

I got this dress at Zara during their crazy summer sale (which is still on, so you should go), and I fell in love with the polka dots and ruffles. I mean what more do you need, really? I then noticed the adorable tie-back detailing and I was sold. After all, it was on sale! And I'm one of those people who believe I'm practically making money when I buy things on sale. πŸ˜‰

This dress is so darling it could easily be worn on its own, but I thought it would be even cuter with a big floppy hat (am I right??).  Hats are such an easy way to elevate your outfit, and with the added sun protection, it's a win-win!

It was a bit crisp the morning we shot this, so I threw a cropped denim jacket over top to keep warm. The look altogether has a cute countryside vibe and is perfect for a weekend on the lake.

Have you shopped the Zara sale? What did you find?? ☺️
